Barhundcsp is a small show kennel established in 1990. Having been involved with Doberman Pinchers, Bernese Mountain Dogs, and now Chinese Sharpei, Barhundcsp has dedicated itself to producing Sharpei that mirror the breed standard; we do not breed mini's, flowered Sharpei as they do not represent the Sharpei breeding standard.
Barhundcsp is committed to breeding Sharpei that are:
- Structurally sound
- Healthy without genetic defects
- Excellent breed type
- Loving temperaments

We occasionally have show and pet puppies available to select homes. All our puppies are placed with a written guarantee for two (2) years against any genetic defects. As a courtesy, Barhundcsp will refer prospective buyers to other responsible Sharpei breeders if we do not have puppies available.
It should be noted that AKC (American Kennel Club) & CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) registration does NOT guarantee quality. At Barhundcsp, we stand firm in the opinion that Sharpei should be purchased ONLY from those breeders who belong to the Chinese Sharpei Club of America and the Canadian Sharpei Club of Canada who offer written contracts, who offer you reachable references, who screen their dogs for health defects and who promise to take the dog back if you are ever unable to keep the dog.
